The Internet of Things

The internet has allowed the ease of connecting with physical objects. Through doing this, objects can analyse data about a number of things. Such as the Sen.se Mother, using sensors called ‘cookies’, which can be placed almost anywhere in order to analyse data. It can be used as an alarm, tracking your sleep, how many times your front door is opened, and your exercise.

This term of the ‘Internet of Things’ is not new and is becoming more and more prevalent today. Many smartwatches have already been using sensors to track daily exercise, also being constantly improved on. Like the Apple Watch Series 4 that recently came out, is able to detect hard falls and whether the heart is beating normally, which could lead to major health issues. This is just some of what the smartwatch has to offer, but it is without a doubt that products like these improve individuals’ lifestyles.
